I think this is a great idea actually. For example, I'm going to
hand out a bunch of stickers at BioSysBio next week, and I would like
to be able for people to get an account essentially immediately after
I tell them about it so we can start using OWW at the conference.
Having a system like this where I could invite x number of people to
become members would be the perfect solution. (In my case of course,
x -> \infinity. Just kidding.)
