[Olympus] Procedure for presented talks at Weekly Monday meetings

Hi,

Just a reminder from what I said this morning.

If you have a presentation you would like to make during one of the OLYMPUS Monday meetings; please announce it in advance (at least the Thursday before the meeting) and post the slides to the Wiki in advance (also the Thursday before). This way people have an opportunity to look at the slides in advance and become familiar with the topic.

Presentations should be reviewed during your local analysis meetings at DESY, MIT, Mainz, etc. before presentation at a Monday meeting to the whole collaboration.

This does NOT mean that presentations have to be final results or free of problems. It just means that some level of thought and preparation has to be done before presenting to the collaboration. Letting people review the slides in advance will improve the level of discussion during the presentation.

The purpose is to make the meetings more productive.

                                                    Cheers,
                                                            Douglas
