Dear all,
this morning the hall crane went broken. The crane company has been onsite
and is repairing, but it is still unclear how long it will take.
We have been ahead of schedule by a day so far. Until Tuesday night, the
wall, the ceiling, and the vacuum system were removed.
Only a few more floor ceiling blocks have to be removed, before the
anchors for the pulleys would be set to complete the preparations of the
rolling-in.
If the crane operations can be resumed tomorrow, we would still be on
schedule. The hope and goal is still that the rolling-in of the detector
can be completed this week, allowing the target experts to remount the
vacuum system over the weekend.
An update on the crane situation will be given tomorrow.
Best regards
Michael
