[Mobilepartners] Is Hotspot @ home possible on MITnet?

Hi John,
T-Mobile HotSpot @Home devices should work with any Wi-Fi network as long as your device is registered to the network (including MITnet).
As you may be aware, the typical registration proceess for MITnet requires the user to a) connect the device to the MIT access point and b) open a web browser to complete the registration process. If the above method is not viable for the device, the alternate method is to call the Computing Help Desk with the MAC address of the device.
We have not had a chance to try Samsung T409, but I put in an inquiry to T-Mobile about how to find out the MAC address so you can proceed with the registration process. I will let you know as soon as we get more information.
Cheers,
Andrew

Hello there. I'm trying to get a Samsung t409 to connect to MITnet, but I'm not having much luck. I noticed that you had a meeting with a presentation by T-mobile on Hotspot @ home. Any info or readings you could recommend would be greatly appreciated. Thanks much for your time.
