Google made some improvements to its Mobile Search Site that might be of interest to you.

The newly updated site can be accessed from your mobile device from the URL below:

One cool feature is that now you can personalize the mobile pages from the device (previously Google required users to use desktop/laptop to control content on personalized mobile site).
