[LEADING BY OMISSION]

Semler's radical approach to management and leadership may enable you to
drop your five-year business plan in exchange for a "rolling rationale
about numbers". This is a must-see for inspiration on not only thinking
outside of the box, but for working outside of the box.

[WHERE THE SUN SHINES, THERE HACK THEY]

Using photos, artifacts and his own insights into the psychological
implications of hacking, Keyser takes us through an unofficial history
of hacks, explaining why a hack has to be clever, and why it is hard to
do "an elegant hack that does no harm". As one who admires and respects
hacking, he explains his own view on not prohibiting hacks, as to do so
would simply raise the bar on the next hack.

 Special Assistant to the Chancellor

[QUOTE]
"One day when I was Associate Provost, I got a visit from a young woman.
She was talking to me about hacks. I asked, 'Are you involved in
hacking?' She didn't answer me but went over and picked the lock on my
door."
