Interested in pursuing a career bridging your STEM expertise and policy? Curious about exploring policy but not sure you want to leave academia forever?


Please join the MIT Science Policy Initiative next Tuesday September 30th from 4-5pm on zoom<https://mit.zoom.us/j/96588287140> for an info session on the Science and Technology Policy Fellowship (STPF) by the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS) - commonly called the AAAS Fellowship.


We will be joined by:

  *   AAAS fellowship Recruitment Director Mehrab Sarwar
  *   Serena Booth<https://www.linkedin.com/in/serenabooth> (Ph.D.), MIT alum and 2023-2025 AAAS Fellow in AI Policy, now Computer Science faculty at Brown University.
  *   Alyssa Rudelis<https://www.linkedin.com/in/alyssa-rudelis/?utm_source=share&utm_campaign=share_via&utm_content=profile&utm_medium=ios_app> (Ph.D.), MIT alum and current AAAS fellow in Energy, Climate and Environment Policy in Senator Tina Smith’s Office.


The info session will include an overview of the fellowship and the application process, as well as personal fellowship experiences and tips from two recent/current MIT alums. The deadline for applying for the fellowship is November 1, so join us just in time to craft an application if you are looking for options after your PhD or postdoc!
