Registration open for Postdoc Academy: Succeeding as a Postdoc

Dear Postdoctoral Scholars:
The Postdoc Academy is a comprehensive digital and in-person professional development program launching this month. The first online course, called “The Postdoc Academy: Succeeding as a Postdoc,” begins Monday, January 13th. This flexible 5-week course will help you create a rewarding postdoc experience by developing strategies and skills to navigate your time as a postdoc.

MIT Postdoctoral Services is pleased to collaborate with the Postdoc Academy by offering in-person discussions to supplement the online learning.  Beginning January 16th, the in-person discussions will take place on Thursdays at 3:00 pm.

Join us in the first professional development online course built specifically for postdocs and created with postdocs. The Postdoc Academy provides skill development for postdocs, from orientation to their next career step. Using inclusive, active-learning approaches, participants in this course will build skills to (1) find success as a postdoc, (2) draft an actionable career plan, (3) work in an effective intercultural environment, and (4) develop resilience. This course explores the research related to postdoc success and guides you in applying it to your environment.
