MIT KAUFMAN TEACHING CERTIFICATE PROGRAM: Summer Applications now being accepted

Dear Graduate Students & Postdocs:

The Teaching + Learning Lab is now accepting applications for the Summer 2018 Kaufman Teaching Certificate Program (KTCP)<https://tll.mit.edu/design/kaufman-teaching-certificate-program-ktcp>.  This workshop series is for students interested in developing their teaching skills to support their teaching at MIT, as well as those who are planning careers in academe. To earn a certificate, participants must participate in 7 classroom workshops + a videotaped teaching/lesson presentation--see program requirements<http://tll.mit.edu/help/requirements>.

Online application forms will be accepted through Monday, April 9th: http://tll.mit.edu/kaufman-teaching-certificate-program-ktcp-application.  Those admitted to the summer program will be notified on or before Thursday, April 19th.

The Program kicks off on Tuesday, May 29th, with the first workshop: Designing a Course and Constructing a Syllabus.  There will be six section meeting date/times offered, with one reserved for students in NON-science/engineering departments.

SUMMER 2018 Section Meeting Times:
SECTION 1 -- 3:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m.. -- Reserved for students in NON-science or NON-engineering programs ONLY (i.e., HASS, ARCH, DUSP, Sloan, etc.)
SECTION 2 -- 10:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.
SECTION 3 -- 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.
SECTION 4 -- 12:00 p.m. - 2:00 p.m.
SECTION 5 --  2:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.
SECTION 6 --  8:00 a.m. - 10:00 a.m.
