G-Research, is putting on a great event Sept. 14 that is open to postdocs. This will be an interactive trading simulation and game that is perfect for anyone who has solid quant/mathematics skills; there’s no finance background required. They’re particularly interested in candidates from Physics or Math, but welcome all MIT postdocs and graduate students.

Are you interested in learning about careers in Quantitative Research, Big Data, or Finance? Have an interest in how mathematics can solve the world’s most complicated quantitative challenges? If you answered yes to either of these questions then you should come to G-Research’s Trading and Quant Finance Workshop on Friday, September 14th from 1:30pm-4:30pm. The event is open to all postdocs and graduate students from all courses. No prior finance experience is necessary!
