Dear Postdocs,

Are you panning for a transition to Academics in India? Come and network with directors and deans of many IITs/IISERs and funding agencies.

8th YIM Boston will be held between May 26-28th, 2018 at Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), Cambridge, USA.

Applications are invited from all disciplines of science and Engineering. The last date for application is 17th April. Apply with your CV and brief research proposal to info at yimboston.org<mailto:info at yimboston.org>

It is a three-day event, with the first day being open to all with a keynote lecture and panel discussions on transitioning to Indian academia.

Day 2-3 are closed sessions with the selected top 30-50 candidates, who present their work and future plan in brief 7-10 min presentations. This is attended by young scientists and engineers from multiple disciplines.  The program also consists of academic leaders from India giving small pitches (typically 5-10 min) on their institutes and opportunities that exist.These 2 days give a lot of opportunities for institute leaders to engage with potential hires on one on one basis- i.e. there is time allocated for networking. The goal is to attract the best talents back to India
