To Postdocs and PIs planning to submit an application for the Banting

*The Banting Fellowship Application requires a letter of Institutional
Commitment from MIT. Maria Zuber, the Vice President for Research, will
sign the letters. *The program is unique in its emphasis on the synergy
between the following:

    research-intensive career
  * host institution – commitment to the research program and alignment
    with the institution's strategic priorities.
  * An applicant to the Banting Postdoctoral Fellowships program must
complete their application in full collaboration with the proposed
    host institution.

*THE APPLICATION/RESEARCH PROPOSAL MUST BE SUBMITTED TO OSP because the
faculty host and MIT are making a commitment.*

as a postdoc in his/her lab if awarded a Banting Fellowship.
     2. Supervisor's endorsement statement of synergy between the
institution's strategic priorities and applicant's proposed
        research program
