Dear MIT Postdocs,

If you are passionate about your research, eager to have a voice on some
of the decisions that get made behind the scenes, and excited about
interacting with people outside your usual MIT realm, one of these
opportunities may be right for you.

Each of these Institute Committees <http://committees.mit.edu/> is
looking for one postdoc to join their meetings and efforts:

Committee on the Use of Humans as Experimental Subjects (COUHES)

Committee on Assessment of Biohazards and Embryonic Stem Cell Research
(requires scientific or engineering background and laboratory experience)

Committee on Intellectual Property

Committee on Radiation Protection

If you are interested in being considered, please apply here
<https://form.jotform.com/62073497665163> by Wednesday, August 24. MIT
faculty committee chairs will review the applications, and appointments
are made by the President of MIT. These committees report to Vice
President for Research Maria Zuber.

Thanks to the efforts of the MIT Postdoctoral Association in partnership
with the Office of the Vice President for Research, postdocs are
represented on a number of MIT committees. This is in addition to
opportunities directly with the PDA. We will let you know when other
openings arise.

Sincerely,

Dana
