    Interviewing

This workshop emphasizes practical tips to consider in preparation for 
job interviews. It gives participants an opportunity to learn what to 
do, as well as what not to do, during an interview and leads them 
through all expected stages of an interview process. Led by Bori 
Stoyanova, Human Resource Administrator in the Department of Civil and 
Environmental Engineering at MIT.


    How to Talk like an American: Sharing your Accomplishments in a Job
    Search

Date: Tuesday, April 12, 2016
Time: 1:00 - 3:00 p.m.

Are you feeling uncertain about how to talk about yourself in a 
networking or interview situation? At this workshop, you will get 
comfortable sharing your strengths and your greatest career 
accomplishments. You will work on your "success stories" and get 
feedback from others so you can improve your answers and feel more 
confident. Led by Michele Harrington King, Career Counselor in MIT Human 
Resources, and Jennifer Recklet Tassi, Program Manager for MIT Spouses & 
Partners Connect.
