Dear MIT Postdocs,
There is an opportunity for postdocs to serve on some of MIT's committees. The MIT postdoctoral association (PDA) is gathering applications that will be forwarded to Professor Zuber, Vice President for Research for a final recommendation for each Presidential committee, or to Ms. Alyce Johnson, co-chair of the Committee on Race and Diversity that will make the final decision.
The following committees will have one postdoc per group:
Presidential Committee on Assessment of Biohazards and Embryonic Stem Cell Research Oversight (previous member: Kelly Stevens)
Presidential Committee on Radiation Protection (previous member: Jekanthan Thangavelautham)
Presidential Committee on Toxic Chemicals (previous member: Erik Dreaden)
Committee on Race and Diversity (previous member: Jamie Macbeth)
Here is the link to Presidential Committees at MIT: http://web.mit.edu/committees/president/
