Hello MIT post docs - forwarded information:

Yes, it's Charles Dickens' 200^th birthday.  But once the confetti has 
settled, check out these three weekend events commemorating the 203^rd 
birthday of that other English Charles....Darwin.

The first is a forum from noon to 1:30pm this Friday in MIT's Killian 
Hall (see "Darwin-Lincoln Event" flyer attached as pdf).

The second is a symposium from 4:00pm to 5:30pm this Friday at Harvard 
University (see "Darwin at Harvard Event" flyer attached as pdf).

The third is a special educational event from 11:00am to 1:00pm this 
Saturday at Franklin Park Zoo (see "Darwin Day at Franklin Park Zoo" 
flyer attached as pdf).

All three events are open to the public.  The MIT and Harvard events are 
free, the Franklin Park event will require regular zoo admission.
