This interactive workshop is geared to doctoral students and postdocs 
interested in preparing for academic job interviews. An MIT faculty 
member who ha s recently been through  the academic job search 
process, will share some insights and offer suggestions for effective 
academic job interviews. During the workshop participants will 
practice typical academic interview questions with peers. The focus 
of this workshop is NOT on the "job talk" (seminar) but on typical 
questions that may be asked during one to one meetings which are part 
of the academic interview process. Advanced sign-up required as space 
is limited.
