THIS JUST IN...

MentorConnection, an online mentor program sponsored by the MIT
Science and Engineering Business Club, (http://www.mit-sebc.net/cm/)
has expanded their service to include post-docs! Interested postdocs
can go to the website to register and input information about
themselves which will be used to match them with a mentor. While the
fields that are available for inputting biographical information are
currently geared towards students, we have been assured that this
will be updated in the future to include more post-doc relevant
fields. As it is, it will be sufficient to match postdocs with
mentors. There is currently a registration period which ends
February 2nd to allow proteges to be matched with a mentor for the
spring semester. More information below....

If you are looking for career advice and professional networking
opportunities, check out the MIT MentorConnection sponsored by the
MIT Science and Engineering Business Club. This is a one-on-one
mentorship program that introduces you to a professional in your
field of interest. Through e-mail exchanges with your personal
mentor, you can develop deeper understandings of a particular
industry, company, or field, as well as getting career advice from
someone who has been there before!

MIT MentorConnection is open to all MIT undergraduate, graduate
students and post-docs free of charge. Registration for the spring
semester opens from Jan. 15th to Feb. 2nd for new members. Take
advantage of this valuable career planning service! Post-docs can
sign up now at: http://www.mit-sebc.net/cm/ to be matched with a
mentor for this spring. **On the registration page, please begin
your personal blurb with "post-doc"**.

Contact zychen at mit.edu (graduate students and postdocs) if you have
