Reminder...
POSTDOC LUNCH TABLE!!
A chance to meet other postdocs, socialize informally, and network. Where else
can you meet other people roughly your age who are not the same old lab rats
you see every day? By meeting other postdocs you can find out things you may
not yet know about, such as: How to pay only $6 for movie tickets, how to use a
free MIT sailboat even on full moon nights, when and where to find free meals
at MIT, where to find good food in Cambridge, where to dance tango for free on
a bridge over the river at night under the same full moon, and even how to get
your $150 refunded from your gym membership. Also, you can take the opportunity
to share concerns or gripes: how to get cheaper childcare, what to do about
health care, THE WEATHER! Maybe you arrived at MIT and feel that
nobody gave you a real orientation? Come here!
Drinks and dessert will be provided! Free!!
so TAKE a BREAK from the LAB!!
Just come to the BioCafe (1st floor of Building 68, near the food trucks)
FRIDAY, JANUARY 23rd
at any time between 12:00 and 1:30, and look for the table with the
BLUE signs. We're all strangers unless we meet!
Organized by the Postdoc Advisory Council
TODAY's COORDINATOR: Dr. JIANBIN MAO, BRAIN & COGNITIVE SCIENCES
