Hey everyone!

To those new to MIT, welcome to Habitat!!  To those returning this semester,
welcome back!!  We're thrilled to have you on board this year.  We wanted to
take a minute to introduce ourselves and give a brief overview of the club
(i.e. the what was covered at the GBM).  We are Josh Cohen '12 (jdc at mit.edu)
and Kavita Chandra '12 (chandrak at mit.edu) and are Co-Presidents of MIT
Habitat for Humanity this year.  We're are very excited to be heading the
leadership of the club and are looking forward to continuing to the positive
growth of the club.  If you have any questions, feel free to contact us

For those who couldn't make the GBM this past Monday, we've attached the
handout which was distributed and will summarize some of the key points
below:


   - Build Days
      - We will be holding on average, two build days per month this
      semester (twice as many as last year)!!
      - Sign up by responding to announcements
      - Fall semester schedule is posted on our website


   - ***2010 Beaver Dash***
      - 5k race to sponsor a local MIT Habitat home
      - *10/10/10!! *Mark your calendars!
      - Help *volunteer*!! If you're interested in volunteering, contact
      scottl at mit.edu.  More information will be sent out soon to the mailing
      list.
