Habitat is addressing immediate relief efforts and long-term shelter solutions for low-income families. The response is threefold: cleanup, shelter kits and safe transitional shelter. Immediate response to the disaster will include restoring capacity to Habitat Haiti.

Individual students ages 16 to 18 can be a part of Habitat's efforts this summer in Tennessee, Mississippi and Washington through Habitat for Humanity International’s Learn and Build Experience. Scholarships are available. Applications are due February 15, 2010.

Support the Serve America Act
