o Does your group need people with particular skills?
o Are there upcoming events that students could attend to get

Dear student service leaders,

What are you doing on Sunday, September 19?

A) Searching in vain for community service resources
B) Wishing you had a cool internship with a nonprofit
C) Missing all the free food available before classes began
*D) Finding all of the above at the PSC's Service Boot Camp! *

Whether you've been leading a service group for years or just assumed an
exec position this week, the Public Service Center's inaugural Service
Boot Camp will help you kick off your service goals for the 2010-2011
school year with a fun, interactive series of breakout sessions and
workshops. Throughout the day, you'll hear tips and tricks for finding
resources around MIT, mingle with other service-minded students, enjoy
some delicious free food, and learn how to position yourself and your
service projects for lasting success.

_*In summary:*_
Who: You and ~90 other service-minded students
What: PSC Service Boot Camp
When: Sunday, September 19, 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Where: Stata Center (Building 32) - R&D Commons and classrooms
Why: To develop new ideas into service projects and strengthen existing
service groups

*RSVPs are due by September 13 and will be accepted on a first-come,
first-serve basis. *(Note that if multiple representatives of your group
want to attend, the first two are guaranteed a spot if they are among
the first 90-100 to fill out the form. Any further representatives will
be placed on the waitlist to allow other groups the chance to benefit
from the Boot Camp. People on the waitlist will be notified as spots
open up.) You can register online here:
https://spreadsheets.google.com/viewform?formkey=dFR4RFlnNlV6Z1RJWUdyZGVOa0FrU1E6MA.

Please direct any questions, comments, or suggestions to cjhuang at mit.edu.

Hope to see you there!
