[mit-habitat-exec] NEW POLICIES- READ: Finboard Allocations Applications Due 11/22 @5PM

Hi Everyone,
Finboard Allocations Applications are due Wednesday, November 22 @5PM. Also
*MANDATORY* (i.e you must send a representative) Office Hours will be held on
Nov. 19 (Sign up for times will be posted on the Finboard website by the end of
the week). Also keep in mind if your group does not have a treasurer trained
president or treasurer, you may not recieve Finboard Funding (2004 Policy).
There is one more treasurer training session Wednesday, Nov. 8 7-8PM, 2-131.
NEW THINGS THIS ALLOCATIONS:
(Please read the attached policy document; it should guide your budgeting
process).
Key Extracts:
1. NO food will be reimbursed under operations; don't bother applying for it.
2. Capital Items with a requested value greater than or equal to $200 will
require two quotes (which you can upload onto the Finboard Website with your
application). The value on your budget should reflect the lower of these two
quotes.
3. If you decide to apply for Finboard Funding you agree to release your
expenditures and
income for the past year as well as your current main account balance (from
SAFO). If you do
not want to release this information, do not apply for Finboard Funding.
4. Please remember that Estimated Income is GROSS Estimated Income; do not
deduct anything from your income value.
