Dear Student Groups:
The ASA has reviewed the applications for Bulletin Board Space. Our goal
this year was to try to group similarly related groups together. You may
notice that government groups are located on boards near each other, sports
share a board, religious groups, etc. While the grouping is not perfect, we
feel it is a step in the direction of publicizing student group activities to
the students most effectively.
The new allocations can be found at:
http://web.mit.edu/asa/www/Bulletin_Board_Map.pdf
If you have space somewhere else, PLEASE TAKE DOWN YOUR OLD MATERIALS BY
FRIDAY, APRIL 22nd AT 5PM. Other groups will want to put their materials in
the old space as soon as possible. Failure to remove your materials by then mayresult in disciplinary action by the ASA board including removal of the
display and/or a monetary fine.
If another group is presently displaying in your new space, please contact
the ASA if they fail to remove their materials by Friday evening. DO NOT
TAKE DOWN ANY MATERIALS BELONGING TO ANOTHER GROUP!
If your group wishes to make an appeal of the ASA decision, please email
asa-exec at mit.edu. Regardless of whether your group wishes to make an appeal
or not, your materials must be removed from your old space.
One additional note, the ASA Executive Board is considering sending the
Freshman Year Summer Mailing on CD this year. If your group has any
comments or concerns, positive or negative, regarding this possibility,
please send them to asa-exec at mit.edu. The decision of the Board will be
partially dependent on the comments we receive.
Also, if you missed the General Body Meeting, please review the minutes at:

Sincerely,
The ASA Executive Board
