We should definately do these funding applications. I would help spear head
the effort if someone wants to help me out.

Whoa! MONEY!
CSF might be up our alley, maybe for the 5k? The 17th is right around the
bend... If we want to do it, we should decide soon. Send me your opinions.
If people like the idea, someone (fundraising chairs? Can one of you guys
do it?) wanna fill it out? It shouldn't take long, if you use the online
app. If anyone has questions, spam me or Sid.
Also, the Coop grant is a nice idea. We could get a few thousand dollars
(potentially) from them, if we have an event that needs funding. Once
again, anyone think we should apply? For what event? Campus Build, 5k,
something else?
Also, PSC grants. So I don't think this is so useful for us during the
term, but I was thinking... do you think they'd fund us for a summer
Habitat International trip? We can take a bunch of people to some foreign
country for a couple of weeks and leave a trail of houses behind us. The
Jimmy Carter Work Project is in June... I don't know where though. Anyway,
it's a really preliminary idea, but something to think about. I know at the
Activities Midway, lots of people asked about building trips abroad... In
the long run, maybe we could even make it an annual trip... Maybe if we
raise enough money to set up an endowment fund... Ooh, so many
possibilities... I'm getting carried away. =)
In any case, we should definitely give these funding opportunities a look.
Please send out your opinions.
Thanks.
