[Macpartners] firefox crash when printing

Hi Ya'll,

Thank you Teddy you inspired me in the direction of an OS update.  The OS update allowed me to download/install a new/updated printer driver.  The process of updating the drivers has ceased the crashing of Firefox.

Hi Aran-

Sorry to hear about the problem. I haven't seen this crop up for me personally, but haven't run 10.7.5 in a very long time. Was Sophos giving you an error when this would happen? If not, I don't think mucking about with Sophos will yield much.

Asking in the Mozilla Support forums doesn't seem like a bad idea. I found a couple of threads with similar problems (such as https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/980967), which make this seem like a print driver problem. I would suggest removing the Biz Hub printer and adding another printer (perhaps MIT Pharos if you don't have another one handy) and seeing if the issue persists from there. I hope that helps. tips/tricks/techniques on towards resolving.

In short, printing from firefox crashes the program.  [Printing to this
printer from all other apps works without issue.]

Steps taken towards resolving - none of which have allowed me to print.

- starting firefox in safe mode
- disabled all plugins and add ons
- removal of firefox profile/prefs
- complete removal of firefox application and reinstallation (including
current version and testing betas)
- ran program from another user account on same machine
- deleted printer from system and re-added (no new drivers available for
printer)
- repaired disk permissions

OS 10.7.5
Biz Hub c360 using
Firefox version 30

My thought was to start poking around in the cups interface but figured
I'd stop and check w/the macpartners before proceeding.

Should I be fiddling with Sophos prefs?

Should I be asking mozilla help forum folks to review my crash logs?
