[Macpartners] IS&T Plans to Upgrade Firmware Version on MITvoip Phones

What is happening?
Starting Monday, April 15 at 7PM and every evening at 7PM until Thursday, April 30, IS&T will be upgrading the firmware (software) version on all campus MITvoip telephones.

Why?
A bug was discovered in the current version of firmware that requires us to perform the upgrade. (Incoming calls to go directly to Voice Mail without ringing or after 1 ring.)

How does this affect me?
The upgrade will trigger an automatic phone reboot after completion. If you are on a call during the upgrade, your telephone will reboot after the call is completed.
