Hi Graham,

Apple exclusively sells Final Cut Pro (version X) as a download through the App Store for Mac OS X 10.6.8 or later.  You can find it here<http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/final-cut-pro/id424389933?mt=12> for $299.99.

I'm not aware of any special pricing for groups or education, however, FCP X is greatly discounted from the education price of the older Final Cut Studio package.
