[Macpartners] TSM restores files that can't be seen, except via a terminal window.

Hi - I had an intel mac die due to a power outage, so I attempted to
restore the person's files using the latest version of TSM. Some of the
restored files and folders were missing, but I could see them via
terminal window, using the ls command. The ownership and permissions
for the unviewable files and folders were exactly the same as those that
were viewable, when using that command. I tried the restore both on an
intel mac running 10.6, and aG4 running 10.5, with the same result.

On the other hand, I then tried restoring the files on a G5 mac that was
still running 10.3 and an old version of TSM, and it WAS able to restore
the files and folders so that they could be seen. Does anyone have any
recommendations of what could be wrong?

I did download an application that makes invisible mac files visible,
but that application did not recognize those files as being invisible.

Applications like Word and Powerpoint do not see the files or folders
either.

Thanks for any suggestions. - Mark
