[Macpartners] Is a Mac G4 PCI slot the same as a PC PCI Slot?

If I have a PCI modem card that works in a PC, will this work in a Macintosh G4 as long as I can find an OSX driver?  Someone told me that the PCI slots were identical, and that the only sticking point would be finding a functional driver for the Mac OS.
