[Macpartners] New Macintosh Platform Coordinator in IS&T

Hello,

My name is Patrick McNeal and I was hired as MIT’s Macintosh Platform  
Coordinator for the Information Services and Technology’s (IS&T)  
Software Release Team.  I am very excited about the role and I look  
forward to meeting and working with many of you.  I come to MIT from  
the University of Michigan where I graduated with a Bachelor of  
Science degree in Computing Engineering and went on to help support  
the 55,000 students and 7,000 faculty as the MacOS X Coordinator and  
project lead for IT Central Services.

My first major project at MIT will be to lead the release project for  
MacOS X 10.5 Leopard.  MacOS X 10.5 is scheduled to be released by  
Apple at the end of October and beta testing has already begun.  Stay  
tuned in late October/early November for the project release  
announcement and timeline for the release.
