Yes, to run multiple operating systems on Mac OS X, you need  
virtualization software, such as Parallels or VMWare. Intel's Core  
Duo, Core 2 Duo and Xeon processors used in Macs support  
virtualization in hardware, so the performance is quite good. As the  
software matures, performance will continue to improve. You can see a
