[Macpartners] Addendum: Time to Renew -- Web Browser Clarification

Good day:

Based on the recent message regarding certificate renewal, a question was
raised as to whether Firefox is a supported and recommended web browser for
FY08.

Since many of you may have had the same question, IS&T wanted to clarify
what the process and recommendations are at this time.

There is a browser release team (approx 40 people) with representation from
across the Institute in areas such as the MIT Libraries, Biology Department,
and the Alumni Association.  Each year this team looks at any newly
introduced browsers to see if they should be recommended and supported
within the community.

Firefox is currently a fully supported and recommended web browser.  For the
