[Macpartners] Empty selected trash?

When the active Finder window is an icon view of a folder with no item
selected, the View menu contains a "Clean up" menu item. If one or
more items are selected, that "Clean up" item in the View menu is
changed to "Clean Up Selection".
I'd like something similar to happen with the "Empty Trash..." item in
the Finder's Finder menu. That is, if nothing is selected in the Trash
window or if the Trash is closed, I'd like things to work as they do
now - that is, the Finder menu would contain an "Empty Trash..." item
that empties the entire Trash. However, if one or more items is
selected in the Trash Window, the menu item would change to "Empty
Selected Trash..." and it would only purge the selected item(s).
Any suggestions on how I could obtain (or approximate) this behavior?
