[Macpartners] open pdfs in adobe not browser window

Tried it but it does not work for me.

I installed adobe reader 8.1.0.
Clicking on a pdf. It opened in safari.
Went to show info. The adobe pdf viewer did not show as one of the
plug ins so I added it. Everything was quit and I tried again. The
pdf opens in safari.
Moreover, when I control click on the pdf in the browser window it
does not show an option to open in preview as it did in adobe reader
7.0.5. Nor did it have an option to open in adobe.

I tried many things. Tried deleting the pdf viewer so that I could
open the pdf in the browser and then control click to get it to open
in preview or adobe. That caused the following message to appear
which suggests to me that the pdf viewer is to work and see the adobe
pdf within the browser. No?

I am going to ask the users if control clicking on the pdf in the
browser window to get it to open in preview will work for them.

Thank you to all who sent suggestions.

Here is the message:
