[Macpartners] pre-release information gathering

Hi Folks,

Though the formal announcement will go out soon, there is a FileMaker 8.5 release effort already
quietly underway.  One of the challenges to this effort is how to manage and reduce the number of
FileMaker versions currently in use by the MIT community.  

With the vast improvements in 8.5 over past versions, the release team will strongly urge the
community to move to 8.5, and will start the retirement process for version 5.x/6.0.  But the team
is mindful of the significant effort involved in migrating complex databases from version 5.x/6 to
8.5.  

So, we would like to know where people are on: 
1.  Which version(s) you are currently using?
2.  If you are still using version 6, how far away is your migration to 8.5, and will you need
help getting there?

If the FileMaker users/managers among you could respond to those two questions, the release team can
start to
estimate the resources needed to make this a smooth transition for the community.  Please respond to
