[Macpartners] wireless card for G3 ibook

Hello, I have a user who would like to configure her iBook for 
wireless Internet use at home and on campus. The iBook doesn't have a 
wireless card installed. According apple.com's "How to identify iBook 
Models" page, the laptop is either a "dual USB" or a "late 2001" 
iBook. Do Airport Extreme cards work in these laptops? Or would she 
need to get an older Airport card?

A Google search seems to indicate that an older card is necessary, 
but I'd appreciate it if someone can confirm that.  It looks like the 
older card is at least $80 more than an Airport Extreme card.
