[Macpartners] Wireless printing problem

I am running 10.4.2 on an Aluminium laptop.  I am connected 
wirelessly to my desktop computer via  Linksys router.  Here is my 
problem.  I cannot get my printer to print remotely from my laptop. 
The printer responds from my desktop computer, to which it is connect 
via a USB port.  But if I try to go through the router to the 
printer, nothing happens.  I have set up the printer appropriately on 
the laptop and on the desktop.  With these settings the printer 
worked well remotely in 10.3.9.  As soon as I upgraded to 10.4.2, I 
lost this functionality.  Has this happened to anyone else?  Do you 
have any suggestions.

PS.  The desktop also is running 10.4.2
