[Macpartners] remapping of keys when using full-screen x11

Hi everybody,
Strange, but infuriating problem here...
I want to use x11 in full-screen mode, as I'm commonly doing very
different tasks with tons of windows that I want to keep separate
from my normal aqua programs. After a certain period of time, when I
switch back into aqua from x11, I find that common key-bindings don't
work anymore: command-tab doesn't switch between programs (and gives
me the system beep), F9-F12 don't activate expose/dashboard (and
gives me the system beep), and so on. The only way (that I know of
so far) to reset these keybindings to their proper state is with a
reboot.
I'm using standard Apple x11 on Tiger (fully patched) running the
Enlightenment window manager in x11.
I have a few questions:
1. How can I find out what keys these formerly-working bindings are
now mapped to? That is, how can I find out what the system thinks
command-tab is?
2. How can you reset the bindings to their normal state without a
reboot? I've attempted "Restore Defaults" in the "Keyboard
Shortcuts" tab of the "Keyboard and Mouse" pane of System Preferences.
3. Does anybody know of what I might be doing in x11 that would
affect my keybindings in aqua?
Thanks for any help,
nick knouf
