[Macpartners] Fetch 5 Release Announcement

Good afternoon. Information Services and Technology is pleased to  
announce the release of Fetch 5.0.2.

Fetch 5.0.2 is a redesigned and updated version of Fetch, IS&T's  
supported file transfer protocol (FTP) for Mac OS X. Fetch 5.0.2  
includes support for secure file transfer protocol (SFTP), a much  
requested feature that enables secure file transfer using SSH as the  
transport. Other new features include:

* Automatic support for StuffIt, Zip, Tar, Gzip and other common file  
formats
* Faster file transfers
* Support for Bonjour (formerly known as Rendezvous) for connecting  
to ftp servers
* Support for checking for and downloading the latest version of Fetch
* Updated user interface
* No longer requires Kerebros Extras

System Requirements
-------------------
Fetch 5.0.2 requires a Macintosh running Mac OS X 10.2.4 or later.

Who should upgrade
------------------
IS&T recommends that all current Fetch users consider upgrading to  
the latest version.

Fetch 5 for the Macintosh can be downloaded from the MIT Software  
Download site: http://web.mit.edu/software/mac.html

Note:  You need a current personal certificate to download this  
software. If you do not have a current personal certificate, you can  
obtain one from https://ca.mit.edu/.
