[Macpartners] Mail.app & Excel attachments

Hi all,

I can not attach an Excel spreadsheet to either Mail.app version  
1.3.11 running under OS X 3.9 or version 2.0.1 under Tiger (OS X  
4.1). The symptoms are that the mail remains in the outgoing mail box  
for a very long time and then fails. But in reality the mail is  
actually delivered with a corrupted attachment.

The work around for me is to send Excel spreadsheets via Eudora.
