I am having an issue with the received time in Outlook 2003 by mail sent
from Microsoft Entourage 2004. The time displayed in Outlook is 1 hour
ahead (i.e. the real time is 3:00pm, Outlook says 4:00pm). This is
annoying to the not Mac staff because they lose order of the emails.
What I have and have done ::
5 computers - Dual 2.5 G5
3 of the computers are running with MacOS 10.3.9 and all security
patches, minus Airport, iSight, and Superdrive firmware updates.
The other 2 are running 10.3.8 or 10.3.9 with less than all the patches.
All the Microsoft Office 2004 updates, version 11.1.1
Entourage 2004, ver 11.1.0 (040913)
This is the confusing part of the problem, 2 of the full patched
computers are working fine. Email that is sent from those 2 computers
report the correct time, but the other 3 don't. I thought it was an
issue with not installing the Apple updates, but that didn't help. I
checked the time zone in the information in system preferences and
Entourage preferences for all 5 computers, they match (EDT, Boston USA,
or Eastern Time). I have tried syncing the time from both Apple's time
server and our Windows 2003 Domain Controller, no difference.
I'm stumped as to why Outlook is reporting the time incorrectly.
I'm wondering if this a weird issue with Exchange 2003??
Thank you for any help with troubleshooting and fixing this problem.
