[Macpartners] DVD recorder for blue/white G3?

I have a blue and white G3 tower running 10.3.5 and am in the market for a
DVD recorder.  I was told by a colleague that not all DVD recorders are
compatible with the Mac, so before I buy the best value, I'd like to
ensure it will work with my Mac.

I would like an external version, preferably with fireware and USB
capability so I can also use it on my Dell machine.
