Partners:
As part of our project to provide support for Mobile Devices using the Palm
OS, we are looking into several different options for purchasing and
licensing of Synthesis SyncML (for secure TechTime synchronization) and
SnapperMail (for secure e-mail).
What we would like to do is ask the Partners communities how much interest
there is in acquiring software for Palm-based Mobile Devices. Do you have
an installed client base already using Palm devices? How likely would you
be to purchase products that have been tested for use with MIT mail
servers and TechTime. Do you have any other questions or comments for our
release effort?
Please respond to me (ndpope at mit.edu) by end of day on Monday January 3,
2005. We would be very interested in gauging interest in the community.
More information on this effort can be found
at: http://web.mit.edu/swrt/releases/mobiledevices/HomePage.html. Thank you.
