As a follow-up to my last announcement, I am happy to share that we are
hiring for an interim position with Children Helping Science
<https://childrenhelpingscience.com/> (CHS) and Psych-DS
<https://github.com/psych-ds/psych-DS>. Please share this with any
potential candidates in your networks!

The Community Specialist will support the day-to-day operations of these
projects, which involve working with researchers to facilitate their
projects, project management with the Psych-DS/CHS team, and working with
MIT administrative staff to keep things running smoothly.

Because both projects involve working closely with researchers to
understand and implement the exact requirements of their studies/datasets,
this job is envisioned for someone with graduate-level experience in
psychological research, but open to recent undergraduates or people who are
preparing to enter a PhD program. The position will run from December 2023
to Summer 2024, and so would be ideal for someone who is currently looking
for work and starting another role for the 2024-2025 academic year.

The full job description can be found here
<https://docs.google.com/document/d/1CIOeuVB8-p1BA8DPwv_qtCpirsnfs_Eyb7R4eEHaf2U/edit?usp=sharing>
.

To apply, please send an email directly to mekline at mit.edu with a cover
letter, CV, and the contact information for two professional references.
(References will not be contacted until after candidate interviews.)
Candidates should apply as soon as possible, with review expected to begin
November 13th.

Thank you!

- Melissa
