Dear Colleagues,

after the outstanding 2025 edition held in Tokyo, Japan, We are pleased and honored to invite the ICIL Community, Researchers, Professors, Doctoral Students, Practitioners and you All, to be part of the next 17th Biennial International Conference on Industrial Logistics (ICIL 2027) hosted by Alma Mater Studiorum – University of Bologna, in partnership with the International Centre for Innovation and Industrial Logistics (ICIIL), and held in the historical city center of Bologna, Italy, on June 9th to 12th 2027.

The Conference Title for the 2027 - 17th edition is “Managing Industrial Logistics in the Digital Age” asking the Attendants to propose papers, case studies and applications highlighting the impact, the challenges and the opportunities of Digital Techs in Industrial Logistics driven by, but not limited to, AI solutions.

Inspired by the Conference Title and following the long ICIL tradition, the Conference topics range in these key areas… and beyond:

The call for paper is now open and the deadline for the abstract submission is December 4th, 2026.

Good to know that all the accepted and presented papers will be published in a dedicated and indexed book by Springer.
