Dear Colleagues,
I wanted to call your attention to the 68th International Meeting of the Transportation Research Forum (TRF), April 15–16, 2027, in Kansas City, Missouri, and invite submissions and participation from the Logprofs community.
TRF brings together academic researchers, industry professionals, policymakers, and students to share research and examine emerging issues across transportation, logistics, supply chains, infrastructure, mobility, and public policy. The 2027 program welcomes research papers, posters, and panel proposals, with ample opportunity for interaction among academic and practitioner participants.
Potential topics include:
* Next-generation air and maritime transportation
* Cybersecurity, AI, transportation analytics, policy, and data governance
* Autonomous systems and connected mobility
* Electrification and alternative energy transitions
* Smart infrastructure and intelligent transportation systems
* Disruptions in maritime routes and global supply chains
* Rail mergers, competition, and transportation policy
* Cargo crime, security, and supply chain resilience
* Multimodal integration, public transit, and Mobility-as-a-Service (MaaS)
* Smart cities, equity, and last-mile delivery
* Drones, robotics, and automated warehouse technologies
Given the breadth of expertise represented on Logprofs, I suspect many colleagues have current research that would fit naturally within the program. Graduate and postgraduate students, faculty, practitioners, and regulators are all encouraged to participate.
Key dates:
* Early consideration: December 16, 2026
* Regular submission: January 12, 2027
* Paper deadline: March 1, 2027
* Conference: April 15–16, 2027
Complete conference information, submission details, registration, and updates are available at:

I hope many of you will consider joining us in Kansas City next April. Please also feel free to share the CFP with colleagues and graduate students whose research interests align with the program.
