Mō te tūka | The role
Join a vibrant academic team shaping the future of supply chain management education and research. This role includes teaching Lincoln University courses at our Joint Institute in Wuhan, China for one semester annually, and contributing to undergraduate and postgraduate programmes on the Lincoln campus.
You'll also supervise research students and collaborate on land-based, food and ecosystem-focused projects.

  *           Teaching Lincoln University courses in China for up to 16 weeks per year
  *            Delivering undergraduate and postgraduate courses on the Lincoln campus
  *            Supervising Master's and PhD students
  *            Engaging in impactful research aligned with supply chain themes
  *            Supporting the Faculty’s land-based mission
  *            Collaborating with industry, government, and professional bodies
Permanent role, 37.5 hours per week (1.0 FTE) between our Lincoln Campus and Huazhong Agricultural university in Wuhan, China. You will be teaching abroad in China for up to 16 weeks per year. Travel, accommodation and other expenses will be covered whilst abroad.
Salary range as below:

  *            Lecturer: Grade A6, $86,065 - $98,283
  *            Senior Lecturer: Grade A7, $105,589 – $131,059
  *            Associate Professor: Grade A8, $134,060 – $145,881

You will have:

  *   A PhD (or near completion) in Supply Chain Management or a related field
  *   Expertise in innovative and technology-enhanced teaching
  *   Knowledge of advanced analytics, AI, or research methods in supply chains
  *   A collaborative and dynamic approach to academic work
  *   Ability to engage with industry, government, and professional bodies
  *   Interest in the food and fibre sectors and land-based systems
