While the conference emphasizes this year’s primary theme, “From Barriers to Responsibility: Designing Supply Chains for a Turbulent World“, submissions addressing other innovative and empirical research topics within logistics and supply chain management are also highly encouraged.

ERS provides a unique platform for discussing cutting-edge research, fostering collaborations, and sharing insights. The program combines formal presentations, interactive sessions, and informal networking opportunities, offering participants a stimulating environment for intellectual exchange.

Submission Formats and Guidelines

ERS 2026 encourages diverse perspectives and invites submissions in the following formats:

1. Full Papers

• Full papers will undergo a rigorous double-blind review process, and conference presentation is a prerequisite for publication consideration.

2. Conference Papers
• Present research nearing completion that seeks detailed feedback prior to finalization from reviewers and conference participants.
• High-quality submissions aligned with JBL’s scope may be invited for resubmission to JBL after the conference for publication consideration.

3. Discussion Forum Proposals
• Propose topics for interactive sessions addressing critical challenges, new methodologies, or emerging perspectives in logistics and supply chain management.
• Proposals should include a brief description of the topic, format, and expected outcomes.
• Innovative and collaborative formats, such as workshops or debates, are encouraged to maximize engagement.

4. Research Ideas
• Present early-stage research concepts to receive valuable feedback and refine high-impact research ideas.
• Submit a 2–3-page outline of the research perspective and its potential.
