[Logprofs] Position at VCU School of Business

The Supply Chain Management & Analytics (SCMA) department at the Virginia
Commonwealth University (VCU) School of Business seeks a non tenure track
faculty member to teach, primarily in our undergraduate programs, with
potential opportunities at the graduate level. The position starts in
August 2025. Courses are offered during the fall and spring semesters at
VCU’s Monroe Park Campus. Listed below are some of the responsibilities
associated with this position. Please refer to the post for more
information:

   - Teach four courses (12 credit hours) per semester at the undergraduate
   or graduate level.
   - Contribute to departmental and university service, including committee
   work, student mentoring, recruitment activities, and industry engagement.
   - Develop and refine courses to align with industry needs and best
   practices.
   - Engage with industry professionals through applied projects, case
   studies, and guest lectures.
   - Provide academic and career mentorship to students, including advising
   on industry trends, certifications, internships, and career pathways.
   - Demonstrate experience working in and fostering an environment of
   respect, professionalism and civility with a population of faculty, staff,
   and students from various backgrounds and experiences, or a commitment to
   do so as a faculty member at VCU.

*Required Qualifications: *

   - *Instructor Rank:* Master’s Degree in Supply Chain Management,
   Operations Management, Operations Research, Business Analytics, Statistics,
   or related field.
   - *Assistant Professor (non tenure-track) Rank:* Terminal degree (PhD,
   DBA, etc.) Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Operations
   Research, Business Analytics, Statistics, or related field.
